Dunblane’s Rubber Chicken Theatre will return to the MacRobert next week with their first full-scale senior show in three years.

Appropriately for the spooky time of year, the cast of local talented teens and adults will perform madcap macabre musical The Addams Family from Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 October.

Artistic Director Pamela Mackie said: “Following on from the success of our sell-out summer production of Shrek, we’re over the moon to be back at the MacRobert with our first major senior show since we performed Fame back in 2019.

“The Addams Family is a fab show for all the family and a great way to get in the mood for Halloween.

“With all your favourite characters from the princess of darkness Wednesday Addams to her unruly Uncle Fester.”

Wednesday will be played by Dunblane teens Millie Wilson and Mia Curran on alternate nights, with local youngsters Eoin Taggart and Kai Austin taking on the part of Pugsley.

Pamela added: “They’ll be supported by an ensemble of Addams Family ancestors, all with their own cameo character to play, from ancient Grecian to Elvis!”
